The 2 DVDs, Appraisal Scenarios and Communicating Assertively, consist of a series of role-plays, with experienced trainers demonstrating firstly how easy it is to get things wrong, and then how to get things right. Key learning points are reinforced in a slide at the end of each set of role-plays.

The role-plays are not scripted, nor do they use actors. Instead they feature real managers and trainers using their personal management experience and proven training skills to provide well structured, realistic scenarios.
